Here there are some photos of the Ned-Set :P
You might be wondering what is it. Well, 'Ned-Set' is how I call the set in which I'll shoot a short film based on a poem a wrote, 'Ned, the Zombie Nerd', using the stop motion technique.

I'll keep you up to date with the progress of this project!! :)

Lord Vlad

Once upon a time, during the middle age,
there was an odd man as pale as a book page.

He had his own fief and lived in a castle.
He also had an army and even some vassals.

He used to walk around during moonlit nights,

But he was never seen when the sun was bright.

No one ever dared to stare at his eyes.

They were shiny, red and seemed to hide lies.

He never grinned, smiled or nod.

There was no explanation, he was just odd.

But he had one secret he told nobody:

He had to drink blood to strengthen his body.

In response to a request from an 'Anonymous' old mate ;P ... here's one of my drawings!
And in 'criollo':

Acá tenes, Nev. El duendecito/viejito que me pediste! :)

Clic here!

Is it a dwarf, a little old man, a tiny zombie...? Who knows! What do you think??

This was the very first time I used the stop motion technique.
It's a quite short video about Christmas.

Ned, the Zombie Nerd

This is a poem I wrote. Now I'm trying to make a short film about it :)

Ned, the Zombie Nerd

Ned the Zombie Nerd was once a common boy,
He used to have friends and a lot of funny toys.
He had his own bedroom where he was able to sprawl.
But something in there was not normal at all.

Books of every size, colour and kind,
covered the walls, as well as his mind.
He had read them all again and again.
And every word was now trapped in his brain.

In one of the corners, on a wooden desk,
Ned’s chemical instruments never seemed to rest.
Some bright strange substances shone in the gloom
and a red blood-like liquid lighted up the room.

Above his bed, there was an old board,
with knotty math problems written with chalk.
Solving equations Ned spent nights and days.
And every time he solved them, he just felt great.

One day, while reading a physics book,
he found a hypothesis that in his mind took roots.
It was an unsolved problem, an enigma, just a trouble.
So he proposed himself only leave its rubbles.

Ned started his labor immediately after that.
He sat down on his chair and didn’t stop writing up.

As hours passed by, he wrote more and more,
the poor boy knew he was losing that war.
Ned couldn’t let that happen. No, he was just too proud.
Thus instead of quitting, he stopped going out.

He had some spare time to eat every day.
But recently two minutes were an unacceptable delay.
So hectic he was, he couldn’t feel a thing.
Not even his stomach aching as he got more and more thin.

After a couple of days, he finally died.
His heart stopped beating and then it got dried.

But something was wrong,
yet he didn’t matter…
His brain wouldn’t stop working
although he was now departed.
